Hydro test fixes

Fixes for some minor issues I discovered while running the hydro tests with Gizmo:

  • some run scripts do not work out of the box
  • some plotting scripts are not called
  • some plotting scripts contain errors
  • some plotting scripts crash without returning a proper error code
