Intel MPI crash when repartitioning

Here is a suggestion from HB to progress and get some more info about the error:

The error output says something about “Invalid datatype”. There might be a limit for the datatype. 
Let me check this. In the meantime you can run the correctness checker analysis:

Source the ITAC environment. Run the program with the additional flag “-check_mpi” to mpirun/mpiexec.hydra. 
This will use libVTmc.so that contains several error checks for MPI programs. Errors and warnings will be printed during runtime.

It is probably a bug that we have to fix. It might be also worthwhile to test the new update 2 version since
there were fixes to the datatype code. I’ll try to reproduce the error on our machines as soon as possible.
