EAGLE cooling bisection crash
I am running the isolated galaxy using the COLIBRE star formation and it produces the following error:
[01016.1] cooling/COLIBRE/cooling.c:bisection_iter():380: particle 163845 exceeded max iterations searching for bounds when heating
This run is done using solar metallicity and the particle that crashes has a density of n_H_cgs=9.534359e+03
and u_ini_cgs=0.000000e+00
.
I configured with ./configure --with-star-formation=COLIBRE --disable-mpi --disable-parallel-hdf5 --with-stars=COLIBRE --disable-hand-vec --with-cooling=COLIBRE --with-chemistry=COLIBRE --with-ext-potential=hernquist --with-entropy-floor=COLIBRE --with-hydro=anarchy-pu --with-tracers=COLIBRE
As a note only the COLIBRE star formation model is not equal to the EAGLE subgrid model in this simulation.
I don't know what is causing this crash.
